Workshop

Date: Tuesday, Febuary 7th

Where: Lake Oconee Lutheran Church

Time: 1 pm

Bonnie Hunter employs the use of strings into many of her quilt designs and has published several books with patterns that utilize string piecing. Using string piecing in quilts adds a lot of interest to what might be a boring and/or repetitious quilt.  String piecing can be incorporated into blocks as well as into borders. Participants in the afternoon workshop will learn how to string piece and then use their blocks to create the quilt “Stringing Stars” by Lacey Colbert.
