PROGRAMS -

We’ve been working to bring you all the latest and greatest quilting teachers and techniques. 

Workshop Times:  Routinely, Wednesday classes will start at 9:30 a.m..  We will plan on a 30 minute break for lunch, and then finish up around 4:00 p.m..  Tuesday afternoon classes will be from 1:30 p.m., and finish at  4:30 .
 If these times have to be changed, the starting and ending times will be posted with each class! 

Fees for Workshops:  Unless otherwise stated, Member fee for all half-day workshops will be $25 and full day workshops are $50.  Kit fees will be charged in addition, as noted.  Workshops are limited to 30 people.  Your check for full payment will hold your spot. Signup sheets will be available 2 months in advance.

Class enrollment policy:  Class enrollment is opened to Guild Members at the Guild Meeting held two months before the class date.
If  seats are still available one month before the class, enrollment is then opened to Non-Members. Non-Members may request to be put on a waiting list for a specific class by sending an email to programs@loqg.org.  Be sure to include the class name and date, your name and email. You will be notified if  seats are available.

Refund Policy:  In order to receive a refund you must notify the Programs Chair two weeks prior to the class date. 

 
October 2018 Program and Workshop

Tues., Oct 2 Program -

Tues. Afternoon Workshop -
1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  "Mystery of the Magic Lantern and the 60 Degree triangle " - Kit fee: $5 (1 block design)


Wed., Oct 3  All Day Workshop - 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. "Embracing Your Curves" - Kit fee:  $6 (3 block   designs)

Supplies: sewing machine and basic sewing supplies.

Each student will be given a precut fabric kit to complete the block/blocks using the technique being taught. If special rulers are required they will be supplied for use in class and can be purchased if desired to continue using on future projects. Go to their website to see samples of the workshops.

 
November  2018 Program and Workshop

Tues. Nov 6 Program: Veterans Day tribute (location note: Harmony Center)

Wed. Nov 7 Morning Workshop:  9:00 – noon (at Lutheran Church) 
“Waving Flag Wallhanging” – Jenni Black and her Queen Bees will instruct us on the construction of this patriotic wallhanging.  $5 pattern (No workshop fee  - No limit on number of participants.)

Project variations include a table runner, a small wall hanging, or a large wall hanging

“Painting a Barn Quilt” – $45 kit fee for primed 2’x2’ board and all paint, tape, brushes and other supplies needed. (kit fee will be adjusted if you provide your own pre-primed board.)
