We’ve been hard at work trying to bring you all the latest and greatest quilting teachers and techniques. As a reminder, Wednesday classes will start at 10:00 a.m.. We will plan on a 30 minute break for lunch, and then finish up around 4:30 p.m.. Tuesday afternoon classes will be from 1:30 p.m. (Note new time!!), and finish at 4:30 . |September - Kay Spors will present information about the Steffen Thomas Museum.|
|OCTOBER - Regina Carter Workshop - Regina's workshop is all-day Wednesday, Oct 4th. The $80 fee includes cost of class and all materials. All you have to bring is yourself. How neat is that! Please make your checks payable to Regina Carter, not to LOQG. Regina needs to work on quilting our projects over the Summer. Getting these together takes time and she needs to get as many as possible done before Guild starts back in September. She will have some last minute people in September so please, sign up early. |
|November - Paula Tanner will teach a class on handcrafted Christmas items, to include Christmas ornaments. Class participants will pay the usual ½ day fee, made payable to the Guild.|
January’s Program will be Gini Cawood, a lecture and workshop entitled, “Hexies and Beyond.”
February’s Program will feature Mark Sherman, ond and one-half day workshop to be chosen by the Program Committee.
|March's Program will feature a workshop led by Mary Kay Mouton.|
|April Program will be Jan Cunningham. |
|May’s Program will feature Bonnie Hunter which will be a 1/2 day workshop and a full day class on Wednesday. More specifics will be forthcoming.|
|Class enrollment policy: Class enrollment is opened to Guild Members at the Guild Meeting held two months before the class date. If seats are still available|
one month before the class, enrollment is then opened
to Non-Members. Non-Members may request to be put
on a waiting list for a specific class by sending an
email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include the
class name and date, your name and email. You will be
notified if seats are available. REFUND POLICY: In order to receive a refund you must notify the Programs Chair two weeks prior to the class date.
